Beatrix Kiddo?? Here! It was time for updated work pics. And since I started as an actor, it means updated Natalee-faces too. I organized hundreds of pages of paper this week and updated my social calendar for December. It feels so good to shed the clutter and organize what deserves to stay. This is part of a larger effort. I’m becoming a successful introvert: which to me means I maintain my world without becoming an unbalanced workaholic recluse. I’ve BEEN ready to LIVE goddamnit. Don’t you feel that way about something in your life? Losing/gaining weight? Asking for a raise? Taking that trip? Kicking a bad habit? Changing something you hate about yourself? I was like David Carradine in Kill Bill, and I hurt people on accident and intentionally. If I could turn that around by choosing to take responsibility and face what made me that way head on - so can you. It’s never too late to be who you were always meant to be or wanted to be, that includes reinventing your character. Transformation can be painful, but also a wildly exciting and unpredictable adventure. And honestly, I’ve NEVER been one to shirk A Great Adventure. 30 years, more, I don’t care how long you’ve gone down a bad road. New ones open up or you can forge them yourself with sheer Will Power. Changing your course is just a thought away. That’s actually why I started The Arteagan, because we all have a choice how we react to a Bad Day.... negative à la The Joker, or Batman positive trying to create and protect good days... But there has to be room for those good days first, otherwise your clutter will push out what your heart really wants. There’s still a whole month left to 2018! Good men need to be celebrated often and appreciated daily (in some small way at least!!), not just on birthdays and holidays. When those great men who shoulder so much do so with beautiful personality, bravado, kindness, and fun, they make moving mountains look easy. It can happen in the day-to-day, taking all they do for granted, especially with brothers and sisters.
